&bio_body=Scott Wiseman creates compelling, vibrant, and evocative images. Innately curious and optimistic, he finds grace, warmth, and humor in the world around him. His photographs create the bridge between subject and viewer.

His work has appeared in National Geographic Traveler, Newsweek, Time, U.S. News and World Report, Sports Illustrated, GQ, Parade, Reader's Digest, People, Southern Living  and others.

Wiseman has won many awards during his 15 years as a professional photographer. 
He was a first place winner of the prestigious William Randolph Hearst Photojournalism Championship. He has been honored by other competitions including: Pictures of the Year, NPPA National Clip Contest, Atlanta Seminar on Photojournalism, Southern Shortcourse,  Addy's, Society of Newspaper Design and the Joseph Costa Award for the year's best courtroom photography.

Wiseman was a member of the renowned newspaper staff of the Palm Beach Post throughout the 1990s. It was recognized as one of the country's elite during that time, winning the esteemed Angus McDougall Award and the Best Use of Pictures category at the University of Missouri/NPPA Pictures of the Year Award. The staff was a Pulitzer Prize finalist for its coverage of Hurricane Andrew.

He has a Bachelor of Arts in Photojournalism from the noted program at Western Kentucky University.
